Gunman kills 4 outside Jewish school in France

TOULOUSE, France (AP) — A motorcycle gunman opened fire Monday in front of a Jewish school in the French city of Toulouse, killing a rabbi, his two small sons and one other child, the prosecutor’s office said.

It was at least the third deadly motorcycle shooting in France in a week, shocking the country and prompting strong emotions and high-level discussions in Israel. French prosecutors were studying possible terrorist links, but the motive for Monday’s attack was unclear.

Concerns about a serial killer emerged, as investigators examined whether Monday’s shooting was linked to two deadly shooting attacks in the Toulouse region last week that killed three French paratroopers and left another seriously injured. French media reported those paratroopers were of Arab origin.

President Nicolas Sarkozy rushed to the school, ordering increased security at Jewish and Muslim buildings around Toulouse, while his prime minister ordered officials to “secure” all school and religious buildings in France.

A 30-year-old man and his 3-year-old and 6-year-old sons were killed in Monday’s attack, just before classes started at the Ozar Hatorah school, a junior high and high school in a quiet residential neighborhood, Toulouse Prosecutor Michel Valet said. Witnesses said the man worked at the school.

Valet said another child, between 8 and 10 years old, was also killed, and a 17-year-old was seriously injured.

“He shot at everything he had in front of him, children and adults,” he said. “The children were chased inside the school.”

Sarkozy denounced “the savagery” of Monday’s attack on a school, and vowed to find the killer or killers. “We will find him,” he said.

Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet told The Associated Press that the suspect in Monday’s school shootings made his getaway on a dark-colored scooter — just as the assailant or assailants did in the two shootings last week.

The school targeted Monday, behind a high white wall with few external markings, was cordoned off by police, who then escorted other children out as forensics police combed the scene.

One officer held a distraught girl, her face in her hands. A mother and son wearing a yarmulke walked away from the site, their faces visibly pained. A video camera was visible at the school’s entrance.

“The drama occurred a bit before 8 a.m. A man arrived in front of the school on a motorcycle or scooter,” Valet said, adding that the man got off his scooter outside the school and opened fire.

A Koran Burning and Social Unrest

Afghanistan has seen substantial protests following the March 20 burning of a copy of the Koran by controversial Florida pastor Terry Jones. Unrest began April 1 in the normally peaceful city of Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, where demonstrators overran a U.N. compound, killing three U.N. staffers and four Nepalese guards. (Initial reports suggested that as many as 20 staffers had been killed and that two foreigners had been beheaded.) Some 80 people were reportedly wounded the next day in Kandahar, where protesters attacked businesses.

Unrest continued in Kandahar through the weekend, as well as in Jalalabad in Nangarhar province and in Parwan province. In Kandahar and Jalalabad, the demonstrators took to main highways and attempted to block traffic. At least 10 people were killed in the violence in Kandahar over the weekend.

That it took almost two weeks between the burning of the Koran and the onset of unrest suggests a deliberate campaign to rile people up. This is similar to the way the initial release of controversial Danish cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed went largely unnoticed until later protests gained traction across the region. While Gen. David Petraeus, commander of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, apologized for and condemned the Koran burning (as did President Barack Obama), the incident came just as American servicemen went on trial for killing Afghan civilians and following the release of photos of American soldiers posing with the body of a dead Afghan.

What all this means is that after nearly a decade of occupying Afghanistan, the American-led coalition is already in a very precarious position, particularly as it tries to win over hearts and minds using a counterinsurgency strategy. Frustration with night raids and civilian casualties has been mounting for years, and the ISAF has always faced an uphill battle in the war of perception.

It is hard to imagine that the actions of a single individual on the other side of the world could affect a counterinsurgency campaign, but inflammatory acts — even at a distance — can ignite longstanding frustrations. In Afghanistan, the Florida incident galvanized a wide swath of a largely rural, conservative and decidedly non-secular society against the liberal, secular and Western countries that constitute the ISAF. And it is significant that the unrest began in a place like Mazar-i-Sharif, where the Taliban’s presence and influence is much more limited and where the ISAF has had much more success than in other parts of the country. The protests cannot simply be written off as Taliban-provoked; many anti-Taliban elements in Afghanistan are expressing outrage over the Koran burning, and condemnation of the act by Petraeus and Obama has done little to calm the unrest.

It is far from clear how sustained this week’s unrest will be. But one thing is certain: It is symptomatic of frustrations that run deep throughout Afghan society. Whether or not this particular round of protests continues, it has significant implications for the U.S. strategy in Afghanistan and its aggressive timetable.

Taliban Attack in Waygal

The Taliban’s military efforts continue as well, with reports March 29 that the district center of Waygal in Nuristan province had been overrun by Taliban forces, causing police and government officials to flee to the provincial capital. Waygal was also reportedly the destination of the police recruits kidnapped last week in the neighboring Chapa Dara district. Both lie close to the long-contested Pech Valley, from which American forces have been withdrawn.

This sort of development is nothing new for the Taliban, and it takes place in an area where the United States has deliberately decided to remove its forces from the equation. Neither Nuristan nor Kunar province contains any key terrain or other areas of interest in the U.S. strategy, and the success or failure of the U.S.-led effort will not hang on what happens in this isolated corner of eastern Afghanistan. But it is a reminder of the tenuous position of Afghan security forces and local government as the ISAF inches toward July, when it will begin handing over full responsibility for security in certain areas of the country to Kabul.

ANA Raid in Pul-e-Alam

Elsewhere, in the Pul-e-Alam district of Logar, which lies between two areas of interest for the ISAF, the Afghan National Army’s (ANA) 4th Brigade of the 203rd Corps reportedly conducted an independent, quick-reaction raid and succeeded in killing nine insurgents. While Afghan security forces continue to suffer challenges in terms of intelligence, planning and logistics, it is independent Afghan army operations like the one in Pul-e-Alam that will increasingly indicate the capabilities of Afghan security forces as they begin to take on more and more responsibility for security with increasingly limited support from the ISAF.

ISR Capabilities

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell announced this past week that $1 billion in aerostat (lighter than air) and fixed platforms for electro-optical sensors and turrets are being surged into Afghanistan. In high demand, these platforms are geared toward providing organic intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities at lower echelons of the ISAF. As the United States and its allies prepare to do more with fewer troops, having the intelligence to employ them more efficiently will be critical.

Afghanistan: 20 Killed After Protests Of Koran Burning

As far as I am concerned Terry Jones and his followers have their hands bloodied the same as the Radical Islamic Individuals who carried out this murderous atrocity. Terry Jones was warned and told over and over,  the burning of the Qur’an in a public spectacle, would set some Radical Muslim’s into a tizzy and would murder over the burning, yet Jones chose to ignore those warnings. It is not the book, Terry Jones, it is the Ideology, just as your Ideology disgust a lot of Christians.

Christians will call Terry Jones out for his wrongful part, I hope that the ‘Moderate’ Muslims will call the individuals out who committed the murders. W

Afghan protesters, after seeing the burning of a Koran by U.S. pastor Terry Jones, attacked a U.N. compound in Mazar-e-Sharif and killed up to 20 U.N. staff members, Reuters reported April 1. A police spokesman said that at least eight foreigners were killed after attackers took out security guards, burned parts of the compound and climbed up walls to topple a guard tower. Five of the protesters were killed and around 20 were wounded. The governor of Balkh province said that Insurgents had used the protests as cover to attack the compound.

Israel’s indivisible legitimacy

Source Link: J Post

Instead of considering what murder says about Palestinian society, media have turned massacre of Fogel family into story about “settlements.”

Written By Caroline Glick

Over the past several years, a growing number of patriotic Israelis have begun to despair. We can’t stand up to the whole world, they say. At the end of the day, we will have to give in and surrender most of the land or all of the land we took control over in the 1967 Six Day War. The world won’t accept anything less.

These statements have grown more strident in the wake of the slaughter of the Fogel family last Friday night in Itamar. For example, on Thursday Ha’aretz columnist Ari Shavit called Israeli communities built beyond the 1949 armistice line the local equivalent of Japan’s nuclear reactors. Like the reactors, he wrote, they seemed like a good idea at the time. But they have become our undoing.

The international community’s response to the Palestinian atrocity in Itamar is pointed to as proof that Israel must surrender. Instead of considering what the savage murder of an Israeli family tells us about the nature of Palestinian society, the world media have turned the massacre of the Fogel family into a story about “settlements.”

Take The Los Angeles Times for example. From the Times’ perspective, the Fogels were not Israeli civilians. They were “Jewish settlers.” They weren’t murdered in their home. They were killed in their “tightly guarded compound.”

And, in the end, the Times effectively justified the murder of the Fogel children when it helpfully added, “Most of the international community… views Israel’s settlements as illegal.”

The Times report was actually comparatively sympathetic. At least it mentioned the murders. Most European papers began their coverage with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s announcement that the government would permit Israelis to build 400 homes in Judea and Samaria.

As for the governments of the world, most were far swifter and more aggressive in their condemnation of Netanyahu’s announcement of the building permits than they were in their condemnation of the murders.

Then there is the US Jewish community.

According to New York’s Jewish Week, there is a new consensus in the American Jewish community that imposing an economic boycott on Israeli communities outside the 1949 armistice lines is a legitimate position. The paper interviewed Martin Raffel, the head of the new Israel Action Network, a multimillion-dollar effort by the Jewish Federations of North America and other major Jewish groups to counter the delegitimization of Israel.

Raffel called the boycott movement misguided, rather than wrong. Then he justified it by arguing, “Being misguided in one’s policies doesn’t mean one necessarily has become part of the ranks of the delegitimizers.”

If that wasn’t enough, Ron Kampeas, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s Washington bureau chief, wrote Tuesday that we shouldn’t rush to conclude that Palestinians carried out the attack.

Kampeas wrote, “We do not yet know who committed the awful butchery in Itamar over the weekend.”

WITH AMERICAN Jews taking a lead role in delegitimizing Israel; with the international media ignoring the massacre of the Fogel family and attacking Israel for its response to the event they didn’t cover; and with the US government united with the nations of the world in condemning the government’s decision to allow Israelis who are Jewish to build on land they own, the despair of a growing chorus of Israelis is understandable.

But while understandable, the notion that Israel has no choice but to surrender Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem to the Palestinians is wrong and dangerous.

Like his fellow defeatists, Shavit argues that Jewish communities in these areas are the cause of international moves to delegitimize Israel. If they were gone, so the argument goes, then neither the Palestinians nor the international community would have a problem with Israel.

The first problem with this view is that it confuses the focus of Palestinian and international attacks on Israel with the rationale behind those attacks. This is a mistake Israelis have made repeatedly since the establishment of the Fatahled PA in 1994.

Immediately after the PA was set up and IDF forces transferred security control over Palestinian cities and towns in Judea and Samaria to Yasser Arafat’s armies, Palestinian terrorists began attacking Israeli motorists driving through PA-controlled areas with rocks, pipe bombs and bullets.

Then-prime minister and defense minister Yitzhak Rabin blamed the attacks on “friction.” If the Palestinians didn’t have contact with Israeli motorists, then they wouldn’t attack them. So Israel built the bypass roads around the Palestinian towns and cities to prevent friction.

For its efforts, the Palestinians and the international community accused Israel of building “Jews-only, apartheid roads.” Moreover, Palestinian terrorists left their towns and cities and stoned, bombed and shot at Israeli motorists on the bypass roads.

Then there was Gaza. When in 2001 Palestinians first began shelling the Israeli communities in Gaza and the Western Negev with mortars and rockets, we were told they were attacking because of Israel’s presence in Gaza. When the IDF took action to defend the country from mortar and rocket attacks, Israel was accused of committing war crimes.

The likes of Shavit said then that if Israel left Gaza, the Palestinian attacks would stop. They said that if they didn’t stop and the IDF was forced to take action, the world would support Israel.

Shavit himself engaged in shocking demonization of the Israelis living in Gaza. In May 2004 he wrote that they were undeserving of IDF protection and that no soldier should defend them because they weren’t real Israelis.

But then the Palestinians and the international community threw Shavit and his friends yet another curveball. After Israel expelled every last so-called settler and removed every last soldier from Gaza in August 2005, Palestinian rocket attacks increased tenfold. The first Katyusha was fired at Ashkelon seven months after Israel withdrew. Hamas won the elections and Gaza became an Iranian proxy. Now it has missiles capable of reaching Tel Aviv.

As for the international community, not only did it continue blaming Israel for Palestinian terrorism, it refused to accept that Israel had ended its so-called occupation of Gaza. It has condemned every step Israel has taken to defend itself from Palestinian aggression since the withdrawal as a war crime.

The lesson of these experiences is that Israeli towns and villages in Judea and Samaria are not castigated as “illegitimate” because there is anything inherently illegitimate about them. Like the bypass roads and the Israeli presence in Gaza, they are singled out because those interested in attacking Israel militarily or politically think are an easy target.

The Arabs, the UN, the Obama administration, the EU, anti-Israel American and Israeli Jews, university professors and the legions of self-proclaimed human rights organizations in Israel and throughout the world allege these Israeli communities are illegitimate because by doing so they weaken Israel as a whole.

If Israel is convinced that it has no choice but to bow to these people’s demands, they will not be appeased. They will simply move on to the next easy target. Israeli Jewish communities in the Galilee and the Negev, Jaffa and Lod will be deemed illegitimate.

In a bid to pretend that the communities in Judea and Samaria are somehow different from communities in the Galilee, proponents of surrender point to the non-binding 2004 International Court of Justice opinion that the communities in Judea and Samaria are illegal.

But Israelis who accept the non-binding opinion as a binding ruling for Judea and Samaria ignore that the opinion also asserted that Israel has no right to self defense.

The same people who think that so-called settlements are illegal also believe that opposition leader Tzipi Livni is a war criminal. The same people who think the so-called settlements are illegal would condemn as a war crime any attempt to enforce the law against irredentist Israeli Arabs.

Israel’s bitter experience proves incontrovertibly that bowing to international pressure just invites more pressure.

SO WHAT can Israel do?

The first thing we must do is recognize that legitimacy is indivisible. In the eyes of Israel’s enemies there is no difference between Itamar and Ma’aleh Adumim on the one hand and Ramle and Tel Aviv on the other hand. And so we must make no distinction between them.

Just as law abiding citizens are permitted to build homes in Ramle and Tel Aviv, so they must be permitted to build in Itamar and Ma’aleh Adumim. If Israel’s assertion of its sovereignty is legitimate in Tel Aviv, then it is legitimate in Judea and Samaria. We cannot accept that one has a different status from the other.

Likewise, it is an act of economic warfare to boycott Israeli products, whether they are made in Haifa or Mishor Adumim. Anyone who says it is permissible to boycott Mishor Adumim is engaging in economic warfare against Haifa.

Once we understand that Israel’s legitimacy is indivisible, we need to take actions that will put the Palestinians and their international supporters on the defensive. There are any number of moves Israel can make in this vein.

For example, following the Palestinian massacre of the Fogel family, Netanyahu highlighted the fact that the PA routinely glorifies terrorist murderers and pays them and their families handsome pensions for their illegal acts of war. He also highlighted the genocidal anti-Jewish incitement endemic in Palestinian society.

While all of this is useful, talk is cheap. It is time to make the Palestinians pay a price for their depravity and to put their international supporters on the defensive.

Specifically, Netanyahu should ask the US to cut off all US economic and military assistance to the PA. Two PA intelligence officers were arrested as part of the Fogel murder investigation.

The US is training and equipping the Palestinian intelligence services. This should stop.

Two days after the massacre in Itamar, the PA dedicated a public square in El-Bireh to terror commander Dalal Mughrabi. Mughrabi commanded the 1978 bus attack on the coastal highway in which 37 Israelis – including 12 children – were murdered. The PA previously named a street, a dormitory, a summer camp and a sports tournament after her. Several popular songs have been written to glorify her crimes.

The US is underwriting the PA’s budget. This should stop.

Were the government to go after international aid to the PA, not only would it begin a debate in the US and perhaps Europe about the nature of Fatah specifically and Palestinian society generally, it would force the Palestinians’ myriad supporters to justify their support for a society that is defined by its goal of annihilating Israel.

It is hard to stand up to the massive pressure being brought to bear against Israel every day. But it is possible.

And whether defying our foes is hard or easy, it is our only chance at survival. Either all of Israel is legitimate, or none of it is.

“I Will Be Their Mother” Says 12 Year Old Tamar Fogel

The oldest child who loses one or both of their parents have to grow up before the majority of his or her friends and acquaintances. Because of bloodthirsty savages, who not only murdered Tamar’s parents and 3 of her siblings, Tamar’s childhood has been stolen as well.

Hate and Evil live in the hearts of the individuals who murdered Tamar’s parents and siblings. Those who celebrated the atrocity by dancing in the street and handing out sweets should be ashamed, celebrating of murder in cold blood your hands are just as bloody and your hearts are just as evil. W

“I will be strong and succeed in overcoming this. I understand the task that stands before me, and I will be a mother to my siblings”.

by Uzi Baruch

The eldest daughter of the Fogel family, 12 year old Tamar, promised her relatives: “I will be strong and succeed in overcoming this. I understand the task that stands before me, and I will be a mother to my siblings”. The  orphaned youngster’s words were quoted in the Hebrew daily Yisrael Hayom.

In their home in the town of Neve Tsuf in Samaria, Tsila and Chaim Fogel, parents of Udi, are sitting on low benches for the traditional “shiva” week of mourning  alongside his three brothers and sister.  There is a constant stream of comforters going in and out of the house, VIP’s and ordinary citizens from all over Israel, whose hearts go out to the bereft family that lost son, daughter-in-law, and three young grandchildren in a barbaric terrorist slaughter on Friday night.

Chaim Fogel continues to retell the story of terrible hours from 3 a.m. on, when he received the horrific news, drove to Itamar, met his 12 year old granddaughter and then entered the family’s home. The authorities were forced to ask her to tell what she saw when she returned from her youth group activity to find her family’s bloodsoaked bodies at 12:30 a.m. Chaim himself had the heartbreaking task of identifying the bodies.

“We came to take the surviving grandchildren out of the Valley of Death, he said. I don’t wish on anyone in the world the sight I saw. It is horrendous, beyond description, beyond comprehension”.

The grandparents recalled the last time they saw Udi, Ruti and the children, a week and a half ago on Saturday night. They celebrated the start of the month of Adar Bet in Itamar, danced, sang and laughed.

“At least they had a taste of Purim”, said Udi’s mother Tzila. “I didn’t feel any premonitions. Why should I have thought that I will never see them again? I am not trying to remember if there was anything of that nature in my mind. We were happy together. We have photos of the children playing and happy”.

The family is against any personal revenge or taking the law into civilian hands. Their slain children felt the same, they said, unequivocally.

The Ben Yishai home of Ruti’s parents in Jerusalem, where the surviving grandchildren are now, is also crowded with comforters. After the mourning week is over, the family will decide where the children will live. Meanwhile, they are having difficulty in explaining to the youngest child what happened to his parents. “What shall we tell them?” they said. “What does a two-year-old understand when he cries over the loss of his parents? They tell us that children heal quickly, mentally and physically. We hope so”.

Lt. Gen. Gantz on Itamar Attack, “I’ve never seen anything so inhuman”

“In the name of the IDF, I express my condolences and embrace the family”

Lt. Gen. Gantz opened by speaking about the terrorist attack on Friday night (Mar. 11) in Itamar, in which five members of the Fogel family were murdered.

“I entered the house, saw the scene, and found no connection between the murderers and human beings. I have seen many scenes in my life, but I’ve never seen anything as inhuman as this.  In the name of the IDF, I express my condolences and embrace the family.”

On the changes occurring in the Middle East, Lt. Gen. Gantz said, “The instability in the area is at a historic level. We need to adjust our allocation of power in the face of threats. We must develop our knowledge and through that cope with any challenges waiting for us, on all fronts.”

“Security forces will succeed in getting their hands on the perpetrators of the massacre”

Defense Minister Barak stated that he was “certain that security forces will succeed in getting their hands on the perpetrators of the massacre” in Itamar.

Defense Minister Barak also discussed the changes occurring in the region and the implications of those changes for the IDF.

He wished Lt. Gen. Gantz well in his new position and told the assembled officers that the people of Israel trust and have faith in them.

Surviving family authorizes release of photos of murdered children (discretion advised)

Where is the outcry from the rest of the world?? These are children, babies and civilians. There is NO noble cause that can justify such hate and evil. There is a special place in Hell for the individuals who did this atrocity. NO G-d would see this as a Noble Cause.

My heart and prayers go out to the Fogel Family.W

The photos in this article were released by the surviving family of Ruth and Udi Fogel, murdered in their home along with three of their children. A spokesperson for the family said: “They have given full permission for their use and they to ask you to report on the horrific reality of murdering children and babies in their sleep, simply because they are Jewish.”

From media reports:

On Friday night at 10:30 pm the terrorists entered the house through the living room picture window, did not notice the 6-year-old boy sleeping on the couch and continued on to the bedroom where they slashed the throats of the father and newborn baby who were sleeping there. The mother came out of the bathroom and was stabbed on its threshold. The evidence shows that she tried to fight the terrorists. They then slashed the throat of the 11-year old-son who was reading in bed. They did not notice the 2-year old asleep in his bed, but murdered the 4-year old with two stabs to his heart. After that, they locked the door, exited through the window and escaped

(discretion advised).

Vodpod videos no longer available.

The 12-year-old daughter returned home at 00:30 and found the door locked. She asked a neighbor to help her. He brought a weapon with him once he noticed tracks and mud near the house. The two woke up the 6-year old sleeping in the living room by calling through the window and when he opened the door, the Rabbi returned to his home. When she entered the bedrooms, the young daughter saw the horrific bloodsoaked scene and ran out of the house screaming. The neighbor ran back and fired several shots in the air to alert security personnel. Within a short time, large police and IDF forces arrived and began intensive searches to see if the terrorists were still in the community. At 03:30 a.m., military trackers discovered footprints leading to the Arab village of Avrata.

Natural Disasters, Palestinian Barbarism

The Fogel Family, massacred in Itamar

It is all happening and far more quickly than even I had anticipated; and yet, the events are so surreal that they seem to be happening in slow motion, as if we are dreaming or in a really bad movie.

That is because we view it all—but are helpless before it.

The natural disasters: an earthquake which may have killed more than 10,000 people in Japan and an unintended Japanese nuclear meltdown are fully matched by the moral and man-made disasters in Libya and in Itamar, the West Bank town in which Palestinians slaughtered five members of the same Israeli family. In addition to the 35 and 36 year old parents, Udi and Ruth, the child victims were thee months old Hadas, 4 years old Elad, and 11 years old Yoav.

Palestinians were seen giving out candy to celebrate this Cowardly Kill. The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, refused to condemn this cowardly attack. He mumbled something in English about “all violence leading to violence” which means the violence of the alleged Israeli “occupation” of the disputed territories is what caused these murders. Palestinian Prime Minister, Salam Fayyad, condemned the attack and, excellent propagandist that he is, insisted that “There ought to be no doubt on where we stand on violence. We reject it, and we have always condemned it.”

And my grandmother is a bicycle as they say. I really wonder what these Palestinian leaders have been saying in Arabic.

Palestinian terrorists are Baby Killers par excellent. From the beginning of the Second Intifada in 2000, they have killed at least 123 Israeli children—on purpose, not accidentally. They have shot up teenagers while studying, have tried to kill children in nursery schools and child care centers. Palestinian terrorists have even killed children at Itamar. In 2002, Habash Hanani did so, and he is currently being glorified by the Palestinian Authority.

Palestinian terrorists are Baby Killers and yet Arab, Islamist, and liberal fascist propaganda have managed to convince the world that Israelis and Jews are Baby Killers—Israel, a country whose military never uses civilians as hostages and which, contrary to Big Lie myth, is exquisitely restrained when it comes to avoiding civilian casualties during urban battle.

Arab and Muslim terrorists are Baby Killers. They kill their own in order to kill the babies of their enemies. The Taliban in Pakistan specialize in grooming 5-10 year old orphan boys to blow themselves up. Muslims, Arabs, Islamist terrorists in general, and Palestinians and Iranians in particular, brainwash, exploit, mere children and teenagers as jihadists and as suicide killers.

Today, sickeningly, the western mainstream media, and some Jewish and Israeli anti-Zionists as well, are implicitly, essentially, blaming the settlers for their own murders! They are “settlers,” “radical settlers,” “living beyond the green line,” not human beings, not Jews, not Israelis, not even real victims. Real victims should not have been living there, their geographical presence comprises an (understandable) “provocation.” Similarly, women’s uncovered faces, infidel women especially, constitute a “provocation” too so that they have only themselves to blame when Allah-fearing Muslim men rape, gang-rape, and assault them.

Real victims are the Palestinian terrorists who are forced to murder babies in response to being “illegally,” and immorally Occupied.

In its first piece about this crime, the New York Times characterized Itamar as “home to some of Israel’s most radical settlers.”

Shoot that radical settler. No, stab him while he’s asleep in his bed, better yet, why not stab his whole family? The international community will not care.

Demonize settlers, isolate Israelis, insist that “Islamophobia,” not Islamic terrorism, is the problem, (do so in the American Congress), refuse to stop the wholesale slaughter of Muslims by Muslims (think Libya, think Darfur), instead, blame Israel because the Palestinians do not want a Palestinian state, lean on Israel to negotiate harder, give up even more, give up every city, including Jerusalem and then simply wait for the law-of-returning Palestinians to overcome the last “settlement” standing: Tel Aviv—do so, even as the entire Arab Muslim Middle East is exploding over non-Israel specific problems–and inevitably, the Palestinian fiends will be emboldened to act and will slaughter an innocent, peaceful Jewish family in their beds and of course, on the Jewish Sabbath.

Update, March 14, 2011: According to Ynet, the Israeli government has demanded an apology from CNN over their coverage of the Palestinian slaughter of the Fogel family in Itamar. CNN did not describe it as a “terrorist” attack, but rather, said that the IDF, not CNN, has deemed it a “terrorist” attack. The IDF’s “terrorist” was also referred to as an “assailant” and as an “intruder” later in the report. There was no mention of the possibility this was the act of a Palestinian terrorist.

Netanyahu: Baby’s throat slit, no rationalizations for “baby-murderers” will be accepted

In an address to the nation after the end of the Sabbath, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his outrage and disgust at the cowardly murder of three children and their parents in the community of Itamar in Samaria. He expressed solidarity with the residents of that settlement and Israeli settlers in general, stating that terrorists would not determine the map of settlement.

Netanyahu described photographs he saw of the crime scene, showing the baby with its throat slit, covered in blood, and of the father and his son murderer in their beds, a horror that was discovered by the 12 year old daughter of the family when she returned home after a youth group outing.

Netanyahu slammed the Palestinian Authority for making only stammering and half-hearted condemnations and demanded to hear one directly and publicly from PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas as well as from the leaders of those nations who, he said, rushed to condemn Israel for building a home but don’t say a word when a Jewish family is brutally attacked by what he described as “baby murderers.”

The government is reported considering taking the rare step of publishing the photographs of the bloodbath and the murdered children.

Netanyahu blamed the PA for ongoing incitement in schools and on state-run media to kill Jews and carry out Jihad.

The PA Chairman earlier made an ambiguous comment that did not refer to the attack in Itamar. In a statement released by his office, Abbas “stressed his rejection and condemnation of all violence directed against civilians, regardless of who was behind it or the reason for it.” Abbas added that “violence produces violence and what is needed is to speed up a just and comprehensive solution to the conflict.”

Earlier, Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki condemned the attack but implied that Palestinian Authority Arabs were not involved. “No Palestinian in the past killed an infant and butchered people in such way based on a nationalistic or vengeful motive,” he said. “This raises doubt as to Israel’s rush to accuse the Palestinians of committing this act.”

Israeli Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein said: “The revolting murderous attack which was perpetrated last night constitutes one of many examples, which testify that there is no partner on the other side.  While our children are slaughtered in their beds and Gazans celebrate the criminal butchery by handing out candies and cheering shouts of joy, I
ask the international community: With whom do you expect us to talk with about peace?  Why and for what reason are we to give a prize to murderers of children?  In these days of ‘Apartheid Week’, we receive a painful reminder of the results of Palestinian incitement against Israel.”

Report: Itamar massacre was first attack in Iran-funded strategy to ignite Third Intifada

DEBKAfile’s intelligence and counter-terror sources disclose that the Itamar attack was the first result of an Iran-funded secret conference in Khartoum last week of the heads of the national branches of the Muslim Brotherhood across the Arab world, at which a plan was charted for Hamas to launch a multi-casualty terrorist assaults against Israel on both sides of the Green Line – over and above missile attacks from the Gaza Strip in order to ignite the third Palestinian uprising (intifada). The Egyptian Brotherhood is the parent organization of Hamas.

This decision was a facet of a comprehensive plan drawn up in Khartoum for Brotherhood activists to fire up the uprisings in the various Arab countries. With Iranian backing and funding, the different branches resolved to coordinate operations for using the unrest to take control of Arab capitals. Iranian intelligence officers attending the conference used the occasion to set up direct contacts with Brotherhood leaders who came from Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Syria, Jordan, Great Britain. The Palestinian delegation representing Hamas-Gaza was headed by Mahmoud A-Zahar and Hamas-Damascus headed by Khaled Meshaal.

Gazans celebrate Israeli family massacre with candy for the kids; Fatah group claims killing credit

Residents of the Gaza city of Rafah on Saturday poured out on the streets to celebrate the terror attack in Itamar, where five family members were murdered in their homes on Sabbath eve. Their joy, one resident said, “is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank.”

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, however, said he “clearly and firmly denounces the terror attack, just as I have denounced crimes against Palestinians. Palestinian PM Mahmoud Abbas has not made a statement on the murders.

IDF and security forces have scoured the area of the massacre since late Friday night, arresting 20 Palestinians from the villages of Awarta, Zababdeh, Sanur and Siliya. The IAF employed unmanned aerial vehicles in an effort to search for the suspects.

Hamas accused the Palestinian Authority’s security apparatus of arresting three of its activists nearby Qalqilya and Jenin. “The report of five murdered Israelis is not enough to punish someone,” stated Hamas Spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri, adding, “However; we in the Hamas completely support the resistance against settlers who murder and use crime and terror against the Palestinian people under the auspices of the Israeli occupation soldiers.”
Despite the comments and activities of the PA, an unverified report indicates that the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the military wing of Fatah — the party of Abbas and Fayyad — is taking credit for the killings. A group spokesperson told a Palestinian news agency that a cell of militants infiltrated the settlement of Itamar and committed the attack. The spokesperson stressed that the attack “came as a response to Israel’s continues hostile policy toward the Palestinian people.”

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Saturday expressed his deep shock at the severe terror attack in Itamar which killed five family members, saying “this is a despicable murder of an entire innocent family, parents, children and an infant, while they were sleeping in their home on the Sabbath evening,” the PMO said.

The Prime Minister demanded from the Palestinian Authority, and from its leadership, that it assist in apprehending the murderers. “Israel will not stand by idly after such a despicable murder and will act vigorously to safeguard the lives of the citizens of Israel and punish the murderers.” Netanyahu was briefed during the night on the murderous incident at Itamar and directed the IDF and security services to act in a wide-ranging and determined manner in order to apprehend the murderers.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak held an assessment meeting at his command center in Tel Aviv, following the attack. with Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and other military and intelligence officials attending. Barak called on the leaders of the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria to act responsibly and urged the Palestinian leadership to denounce the attack.

Ron Nachman, mayor of adjacent city Ariel, arrived in Itamar Saturday noon and expressed anger over the government and defense minister’s conduct. “We need to find those behind the attack and give them the death penalty. I can’t recall such a horrific terror attack,” he said. Nachman refused to comment on future “price tag” operations of radical rightist, saying: “I am not responsible for violent acts from either side.”

Arab intruders stab to death five members of Jewish family in Itamar

On Sabbath eve, after ten, at least two Arab terrorists entered the Jewish community of Itamar and stabbed to death a father, mother, and three of their children: a boy of 11, a toddler of 3, and an infant. Their 12-year old child returned home after midnight and discovered the grisly scene of the attack and called for help, managing to remove two other siblings from the house in circumstances that are not yet clear.

Paramedics arriving on the scene around 1am saw signs of life only in the 3 year old but desperate resuscitation efforts failed and the child was pronounced dead at the scene with the other four members of his family.

Veteran reporters were shaken by photographs of the crime scene, describing it as one of the most horrific attacks ever in the West Bank.

Authorities initially requested that Itamar residents remain indoors but now believe that the attackers escaped. The army has re-established checkpoints that were removed as “gestures” to the Palestinians under pressure from the United States.

The new Chief of Staff, Gen. Benny Gantz, arrived on the scene with other senior officers and IDF forces and vowed to capture the murders and bring them to justice.

Hamas Websites hailed the murder as “heroic,” without taking responsibility.

DEBKAfile reports that there were no terror alerts prior to the attack, although Hamas networks had been known to be regrouping in Judea and Samaria for the purpose of attacking and kidnapping Israelis on both sides of the Green Line. Several Palestinians were recently detained at the few remaining West Bank checkposts carrying pipe bombs, knives and fire bombs.

Despite the spate of attempts at infiltration, the IDF did not recommend putting any of the checkposts back even though the Palestinian Authority’s security services had slowed down their counter-terror cooperation with Israel, therefore failing to keep their side of the bargain for the removal of the checkpoints. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak yielded to intense US and European pressure to grant West Bank Palestinians almost unrestricted freedom of movement in a vain attempt to persuade PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas to return to the bargaining table.  As a result, Palestinian traffic between Nablus in the north and Hebron in the south is effectively unmonitored. Israel is left with no recourse other than relying on intelligence informants as its only tool for preventing terrorist attacks and more likely, for locating terrorists after their attacks. That was the case this bloody Sabbath evening in Itamar.

The settlement of Itamar has suffered brutal attacks in the past. In June 2002, a Palestinian terrorist burst into the home of the Shabo family and opened fire. Rachel Shabo, the mother of the family, and three of her children, were murdered. Another two children were seriously injured. Yossi Tuito, who served as commander of the neighborhood preparedness team, was also shot to death as he approached the family’s house in order to help. After more than an hour of exchanging gunfire with Israeli soldiers, the Palestinian terrorist was killed. During the gunfight, the Shabo house caught fire and burned down.

PA Condemnation Of Itamar Attack Not Good Enough – Netanyahu

March 12, 2011

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Palestinian Authority’s statements thus far were not harsh enough for an attack in which five members of the same family were stabbed to death in their beds leaving three orphans behind, Jerusalem Post reported March 12. He called on the countries of the world that rush to the United Nations to condemn planned Israeli building to rush to condemn the Itamar terror attack in the same way.

Abbas Calls Netanyahu, Expresses Condolences For Itamar Attack

March 12, 2011

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and expressed his condolences for the murder of the family in Itamar, Ynet reported March 12. Netanyahu told Abbas that they cannot be content with condemnations of such attacks, that they must stop the incitement and educate the Palestinian people about peace. He said, “the murder of babies in their sleep is only for the sake of murder.”

Palestinian President Abbas Condemns Attacks

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on March 12 said he condemned the killings of five family members in an Israeli settlement regardless of who was responsible, WAFA reported. He said “violence produces violence” and he called for a “just and comprehensive solution to the conflict.”

Attack Condemned In White House Statement

U.S. White House officials condemned the killings of a family of five in an Israeli settlement, Haaretz reported March 12, citing a statement. The statement said there is no justification for the killings in the family’s home and called on the Palestinian Authority to condemn the attack and hold the attackers accountable. Speaking to AP, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad also condemned the attack.

18 Palestinians Detained By Israeli Army

The Israeli army arrested at least 18 Palestinians in the Nablus area of the West Bank as the army sought suspects in the deaths of five settlers in a nearby Jewish settlement, Xinhua reported March 12, citing Palestinian witnesses. The suspects were taken to several villages near Itamar settlement. The army deemed Nablus a closed military zone, installing additional checkpoints and preventing Palestinians from entering or leaving, witnesses said.

Al-Aqsa Claims Responsibility For Attack

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the killings of a family in a West Bank settlement, Haaretz reported March 11, citing a statement. Calling the attack heroic, the statement said the act was in response to killings of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The statement said Israelis’ crimes will not go unpunished.

Botched Abortion Nightmare: ‘I wish I never heard of them’

I have a very strong belief that a baby is born at conception and is not a blob as so many pro abortionist claim. Watch the video of actual child growth inside the mothers womb, then read how old the child was inside the womb of the mother by these butchers from hell. It makes me sick to think that we could be murdering the next great sports hero, musician, artist, president,  someone who could do good for mankind, but will never be given that chance because of the murder called abortion being performed. Details emerge of a secret criminal plot to commit illegal late-term abortions in New Jersey and Maryland

By Cheryl Sullenger

She is only eighteen, but she is lucky to be alive. The ordeal that nearly cost her life began in early August. D.B., as records identify her, was on a popular brand of birth control pills that limited the number of periods, so she was unaware that the pills had failed until her pregnancy was advanced. On August 9, 2010, D.B. went to American Women’s Center in Voorhees, New Jersey, and discovered she was 21.5 weeks pregnant.

What happened next led to a dramatic abortion clinic raid, the suspension of the medical licenses of three abortionists, and launched investigations that span four states. News of the discovery of a multi-state illegal late-term abortion scheme has shaken the abortion industry to its crumbling foundations.

Authorities believe that if D.B. had not suffered her terribly botched abortion, the dangerous late-term abortion ring would still be one of the abortion cartel’s dirtiest of secrets.

Documents paint a shocking picture

Operation Rescue received 302 pages of documents from the State of New Jersey on September 9, 2010, through an open records request. The documents tell a shocking story of a well-planned conspiracy to circumvent abortion laws, evade discovery of the unlicensed practice of medicine, and deceive women and authorities who have long suspected illegal activity at the chain of clinics operated by troubled abortionist Stephen Chase Brigham.

The documents were related to a New Jersey complaint against Brigham filed on September 8, 2010, that demanded the suspension of his medical license after D.B.’s serious late-term abortion injuries caught the attention of the police as well as physicians at Johns Hopkins Medical center where D.B. was eventually treated. Brigham has since agreed to a suspension effective September 15, to give him more time to present his case to the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, (NJBME), at its scheduled meeting on October 13, 2010.

Brigham’s need to evade the law

The time-line of events actually began in January, 2010, when Brigham, who is not licensed to practice in Maryland, opened a secret office in a rented medical space in Elkton, Maryland. This clinic was not advertised under Brigham’s American Women’s Services, his four-state empire of 15 known abortion mills. Documents show that the Elkton facility’s paperwork often bore the name Grace Medical Services, but the people that worked there simply referred to it as Elkton. (See D.B. AWS Record, p. 30) The purpose of this under-the-radar office was to complete second and third trimester abortions that were illegally initiated at Brigham’s Voorhees, New Jersey, headquarters.

New Jersey law states that abortions can only be done up to 14 weeks at clinics not licensed as ambulatory surgical centers or hospitals. (N.J.A.C. § 13:35-4.2) The upper limit for any abortion in New Jersey is 18 weeks gestation. Brigham’s clinics are not licensed as ambulatory surgical centers, but that did not stop him from beginning abortion procedures there on women as late in their pregnancies as 36 weeks, according to his own records. (See Elkton Patient Logs)

According to interviews conducted by the Maryland Board of Physicians, (MDBP), with those involved in D.B.’s abortion, Brigham would, in spite of the law, see women who were beyond 14 weeks at his Voorhees, NJ clinic, where he would inject digoxin into the baby’s heart in order to initiate fetal demise, (in other words, kill the baby), then insert laminaria, thin sticks of seaweed that slowly expand to begin the cervical dilation process. He would also prescribe medications there. The women would be told to report to the Voorhees clinic the following morning where they would be taken to another undisclosed location for the completion of their abortions.

In June, 2010, suspecting illegal late abortions were being done by Brigham in Voorhees, the New Jersey Deputy Attorney General sent Brigham a list of questions that were was supposed to be answered in writing under oath. Brigham sent back a letter dated June 30, 2010, asking for additional time, but also addressing the question of late abortions. He wrote:

I looked briefly at the Demand and it appears that you may have the false impression that late-term abortions are being done by us in an office setting in New Jersey. This portion of your Demand I can directly answer now in this letter. We are not performing any abortions beyond 14 weeks in an office setting in New Jersey.

However, the documents supplied to patients and signed by them clearly show that abortions as late as 36 weeks are being started by Brigham in New Jersey.

Post-Laminaria Insertion Instructions given to patient D.B. in New Jersey clearly state, “You have just completed the first step of your abortion procedure…Remember that your abortion really begins when the laminaria is inserted into your cervix.” (D.B. AWS Record, pg. 21)

Brigham is charged with lying to the New Jersey Attorney General’s office about his late-term abortion activity in New Jersey. (See Pleadings, Count IV, p. 14)

We’re not in New Jersey anymore

Once the late-term women gathered at the Voorhees on the second day of their abortion procedure, they are assigned places in a caravan by Brigham, then led in their private vehicles to the Elkton facility where they are locked down for the remainder of their abortion.

Such was the case on August 13, the day of D.B.’s abortion. D.B., who was accompanied by her mother and boyfriend, was under the impression she was going to a clinic in Baltimore and was surprised to find herself in Elkton. In the caravan were some of Brigham’s New Jersey clinic workers, which were transported to Elkton to assist with the abortions. Other clinic workers from his Pennsylvania operations also met them in Elkton. It appears that there were no Maryland residents working at the Elkton clinic.

When they arrived at Elkton, the patients along with their accompanying family members were separated and placed into cubicles, or “booths” where they waited for the conclusion of the abortions. One of the other girls seemed to be in more pain than D.B. and the third abortion patient, so they took her first. Records show that this woman aborted twins that were 25 weeks gestation.

Nicola Riley

At about 11:00 a.m., D.B. was called back to the procedure room for her abortion. There, Brigham introduced her to Nicola Irene Riley, an African-American abortionist from Salt Lake City, Utah, that had recently been hired by Brigham. Riley’s first day on the job had been July 30, 2010, when she received training in third-trimester abortions on a woman who records show was 33 weeks pregnant. Riley reluctantly described that abortion as a “partial delivery.” The day of D.B.’s abortion was only Riley’s second day of work at Elkton. (MDBP Interview with Riley, p. 7)

Riley had been doing abortions for five years at another low-key abortion clinic in Salt Lake City known as SMP Family Medicine and Homecare, P.A., having been trained to do abortions through 20 weeks by experienced abortionists Colorado and Salt Lake City. She had agreed to work for Brigham every other weekend. She would spend Fridays in Elkton and Saturdays at the Baltimore and Frederick locations. Riley was trying to establish herself in Virginia, where she has family, in advance of a permanent move to the East Coast for the purpose of attempting to regain custody of her children.

In fact, it was D.B.’s impression that Brigham was training Riley on the day of her abortion. In her interview with the MDBP there was the following exchange:

Q. …Now when you walked into the exam room, Dr. Brigham was in there?
A. Mm-hmm
Q. Okay, did he say anything to you?
A. He introduced me to Dr. Reilly [sic]
Q. Okay. So, he just said this is Dr. Reilly?
A. Mm-hmm
Q. Did he say what Dr. Reilly was going to be doing?
A. No.
Q. Okay.
A. But it seemed like he was training her.
Q. Okay. Why did it seem like that to you?
A. Because she went to put in my anesthesia and he just like was telling her what to do.
Q . Okay.
A. And I was like nervous. I did not go to sleep right away.

While Brigham stroked D.B.’s shoulders in an attempt to calm her, Riley injected her with additional medication then proceeded with the D&E dismemberment abortion on her 22 week old baby.

But the patient’s mother, identified in documents only as C.B., began to think something was wrong. She estimates that D.B. had been in the procedure room about 2 hours. C.B. was disturbed by her daughter’s screams of pain. She told the MDBP, “Well, I kept hearing her [D.B.] screaming and hollering. And then – I mean, it did take long. It took like two hours, I think…But all I kept hearing was her screaming and hollering. And I told the lady that worked there, I can’t stand this. I got to leave out. So I kept going out to the hall, you know, to the other part of the building, you know, in front… Because, you know, I didn’t want to hear her [screaming] – and why is she screaming now because they put her to sleep.” (See MDBP Interview-CB)

Meanwhile, in the procedure room, Riley had begun the abortion procedure. She admits she remembers removing an arm, a leg, and some soft tissue. As she was going in to search for the cranium, Riley discovered what appeared to be a bowel in D.B.’s birth canal. Brigham confirmed that the tissue was likely a bowel. The abortionist had perforated D.B.’s uterus, shoved the remains of baby into her abdominal cavity, and pulled out part of her bowel through her vagina.

Time line problems and other discrepancies

There is a discrepancy in the time line and in accounts of the events that happened next.

C.B. claims that D.B. began her procedure at about 11:00 a.m. and that it lasted for about two hours. At that point, Riley came out and told C.B. that her daughter had complications and needed to be taken to the nearby hospital. Riley had placed D.B. into a wheelchair with her legs up and had intended to push her the two blocks to the emergency room. C.B. said that she insisted that an ambulance be called, but Riley refused, and after some discussion, D.B. was loaded into Brigham’s rental vehicle and transported to Union hospital where records* show that they arrived at 1:39 p.m.

Riley first told the MDBP that she began the abortion around 11:00 a.m. but changed her story to 12:00 p.m. after the interviewer confronted her with the time of arrival recorded by Union Hospital. Riley recorded in D.B.’s medical record at the clinic, that she started the abortion at 1:00 pm. She told the MDBP that she was only 10-15 minutes into the abortion when she discovered the apparent complication, stopped immediately, and got her patient to the hospital within 10 minutes. (See MDBP Interview-Riley)

It is impossible that Riley’s confused account of the time line and C.B.’s account could both be true. Riley’s account changes three times, while C.B. and D.B. both have similar stories, making their version the most credible.

Records show that Riley ordered one of the aids to start an I.V. on D.B. before she was transported to the hospital, (see DB AWS Record, p. 31) however, Riley told the MDBP that she started the I.V. herself which “blew out” after a few minutes. (See MDBP Interview-Riley, p. 24) Riley says she monitored D.B.’s vital signs during the drive to the hospital and that her patient remained stable. Union Hospital records indicated that D.B. arrived unmonitored and without I.V. support. Their records also indicate that an IV was established in D.B. at the hospital with no problems.

I work “at the secret clinic that performs second trimester abortions in town.”

Once at the hospital, Riley and Brigham were said to have behaved strangely. Riley identified herself as a physician “that works at secret clinic that performs second trimester abortions in town.” (See Union Hosp Records*) Brigham did not identify himself and hung back from the conversations. Riley insisted that an E.R. doctor come outside and speak with her, which delayed D.B.’s care. Riley informed the E.R staff of the complication and of the medications the patient had been given, but was evasive about the time and dosage of those medications. After ten minutes at the hospital, Riley and Brigham returned to the “secret clinic” in Elkton and completed another abortion.

Meanwhile, the staff members at Union Hospital were shocked. Records indicate that the physicians were not aware of any abortion clinic operating legally in Elkton.

Union Hospital examined and evaluated D.B. and determined that the injuries she suffered were so severe that the decision was made to transport her via helicopter to Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore where she was rushed into surgery immediately upon her arrival. There, doctors removed the remains of her partially aborted baby from her abdominal cavity, removed and repaired part of her small intestine, and repaired a tear at the back of her uterus. (See Johns Hopkins Records*)

Elkton Police Arrive, Brigham Flees

Someone tipped off the Elkton police, because while Riley was finishing up her last abortion of the day, an officer arrived at the clinic and asked to speak with her. After the abortion was done, Riley spoke with the police. She presented her Utah drivers license and her Maryland physician’s license card.

Police asked if any other doctors were present. When she indicated that Brigham was there as well, police asked her to go get him so they could speak with him. To her surprise, when she went to notify Brigham that police officers wanted to see him, he had already fled the building, leaving Riley to deal with the increasingly tense situation with the police.

Riley resisted showing the officers around the clinic, citing “patient privacy” concerns. Finally she consented to walk the police through the building. Of that encounter Riley told the MDBP, “It was very kind of heated, I can actually say. And I said – I told them, you have to respect the patients’ privacy.”

She gave the police the website for Brigham’s American Women’s Services and his clinic license number and told them if they wanted more information, they would have to talk to the Voorhees office.

Police Raid Elkton

Riley’s next shift at Elkton was scheduled for August 20, 2010. Riley told the MDBP that she suspected that, based on the way she was “treated” in their previous encounter, the police may attempt to “impede procedures” on August 20. She arrived for her duty shift two hours early and remained in her car reading and drinking coffee.

Riley was approached by a plain-clothes detective who asked for her identification. Before she knew it, six squad cars had blocked both entrances to the clinic, including her vehicle. Even the Elkton Chief of Police was there.

The questioned Riley about “Maryland law and illegal criminal activity” and informed her that there was an open criminal investigation. Riley indicated that she either had to have an attorney present or they needed to let her go if she was not being arrested or subpoenaed. After about ten minutes, police allowed Riley to leave the scene.

She confided with the MNBP that she was anxious to get away from the police because she knew that Brigham was already in route from Voorhees, New Jersey, to Elkton, Maryland, with a caravan that included four women who were “active” and would need to have their abortions completed. Once free from the police, Riley says she called Brigham and told him that the police were at Elkton and that the women should be diverted to Baltimore. Riley rushed to Baltimore and readied the clinic for the late-term abortions. The caravan arrived about an hour after she did, and the four late-term abortions were done.

Riley admitted she arrived at Elkton early because anticipated the equivalent of a “picket line” of police and wanted to warn Brigham if that was so.

Open murder investigation

It was not until August 24, that Riley became aware that Brigham had been served with a search warrant for the Elkton clinic when he “casually” brought it up in conversation. Riley was stunned that the basis of that warrant was a open murder investigation. Riley was upset at Brigham for ducking out during the first police encounter, then for failing to notify her of the search warrant. She considered his conduct “unprofessional.”

In Maryland, there is no legal limit on when abortions can be done. However, if a pre-born baby is past viability and his or her life is taken in an illegal act, murder charges can be brought. (Md. Criminal Law Code Ann. § 2-103) Viability, as mention previously, is generally considered to be 24 weeks gestation.

Abortion logs recovered from the Elkton clinic show that Riley was involved in an abortion on twins at 25 weeks on the day of D.B.’s abortion, and on a 33 week baby on July 30. The gestational ages of the babies aborted in Baltimore on August 20 after the police raided the Elkton clinic are unknown.

Those same logs show that between June 23 and August 13, 2010, 51 abortions were started in Voorhees, New Jersey, after the 14-week legal limit there and completed in Elkton, Maryland. Of those abortions, 15 were done on viable babies either by Brigham or at his direction.

Riley’s “Physician Independent Contractor Agreement” dated July 30, 2010, provides a pay scale for Riley’s abortion services up to 37 weeks gestation.

Based on these records, felony charges in New Jersey of illegal late-term abortions and murder charges in Maryland would be very appropriate.

Impeachable Offense: Congressman says Obama Admin Illegally Funding Pro-Abortion Kenya Constitution

Source: Impeach Obama Campaign

A Congressman says the Obama administration is engaging in illegal funding of Pro-Abortion and Pro-Sharia Kenyan Constitution using taxpayer dollars, in direct conflict with U.S. law. Despite denials by the offices of VP Joe Biden and the U.S. embassy in Kenya, Rep. Chris Smith says there is proof that the White House is funding the Yes Campaign to get the Constitution approved next month.

According to LifeNews.com:

“There is no doubt that the Obama Administration is funding the ‘yes’ campaign in Kenya,” [Rep. Smith] said. “By funding NGOs charged with obtaining ‘yes’ votes, the Administration has crossed the line.”

“Directly supporting efforts to register ‘yes’ voters and ‘get out the yes vote’ means the U.S. government is running a political campaign in Kenya. U.S. taxpayer funds should not be used to support one side or the other,” he added.

According to a chart of USAID received by the three congressmen pursuing this investigation, two organizations have been given over 150,000 dollars to push the Yes Campaign and many other groups have been given smaller amounts, including, but not limited to:

* The Central Organization of Trade Unions, Kenya (COTU) received $91,106.66 to “marshal a coalition of pro-Constitution individuals, institutions, and organizations to drum up political support for the Proposed Constitution by organizing a public rally at the historic Kamukunji Grounds, Nairobi.”

* The Provincial Commissioner North Eastern Province obtained $99,220 for “one of a series of activities that aim to contribute to an ‘overrepresentation’ of the YES voters at the next referendum. Specifically, OTI will provide support to the office of the Provincial Commissioner (PC) in the form of transportation and fuel.”

* The Kenya Muslim Youth Alliance (KMYA) got $56,953.33 from the Obama administration for “one of a series of activities that aim to contribute to an ‘overrepresentation’ of the YES voters at the next referendum. Specifically, OTI will provide support to Kenya Muslims Youth Alliance (KMYA) in the form of transportation and communications.”

* The Provincial Peace Forum, Rift Valley Province received $94,193.33 to “build on previous activities in the North Rift as an entry point for a YES campaign on the constitution. Specifically, this activity will serve to gain buy-in for the new proposed constitution by getting the professional elites’ commitment.”

This funding is an impeachable offense. Because the Kenyan Constitution essentially opens the nation up to unlimited abortions, the White House is in direct conflict with the Siljander Amendment annually included in the State, Foreign Operations Appropriations Act.

The Amendment reads, “None of the funds made available under this Act may be used to lobby for or against abortion, and violations are subject to civil and criminal penalties under the Antideficiency Act, 31 U.S.C. § 1341.”

Life News reports that this amount may exceed 10 million dollars.

Obama has long had connections with Kenyan Politics which flaunts Federal Law. In 2006 as Senator, he campaigned for Raila Odinga, a thug politician who is a member of the same tribe as Obama and has connections with Al-Qaeda supporters.

Now Obama is supporting Odinga’s Constitution, and he is once again flaunting Federal Law to do it.

The White House has spent over 10 million dollars lobbying for a pro-abortion constitution in Kenya, and Obama cannot be let off the hook for these high crimes and misdemeanors.

Spread this page around the Internet and encourage people to sign the Petition to Impeach Obama. We can stop him if the American people realize that Obama is committing impeachable offenses  as we speak. The three congressmen who are investigating this need to know that the American people are behind them. Help us to Impeach Obama.

Obama Administration Approves First Direct Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Through New High-Risk Insurance Pools

For those who claim it is nothing but a blob when a child is aborted, first I am tired of such stupidity and the pro-abortion groups using such a lie. View the video’s and judge for yourself, the aborted child is a living creature and NOT a blog of nothing. Walt

Article Source: CNS News

(CNSNews.com) – If you want proof that President Obama’s Executive Order on taxpayer-funded abortion was a sham, look no further than Pennsylvania, says House Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio).

Boehner and other Republicans point to reports that the Health and Human Services Department is giving Pennsylvania $160 million to set up a new high-risk insurance pool that will cover any abortion that is legal in the state.

“The fact that the high-risk pool insurance program in Pennsylvania will use federal taxpayer dollars to fund abortions is unconscionable,” Boehner said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Just last month at the White House, I asked President Obama to provide the American people with a progress report on the implementation of his Executive Order, which purports to ban taxpayer-funding of abortions. Unfortunately, the President provided no information, and the American people are still waiting for answers.”

President Obama pledged that under his health care plan “no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions, and federal conscience laws will remain in place.”

In a May 13 letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Boehner asked if her department has provided guidance to the states on how to implement the president’s Executive Order on abortion funding. Boehner also asked Sebelius if the new federal high-risk pools would exclude abortion coverage.

He says his questions remain unanswered.

“Millions of Americans care deeply about this aspect of the new law and its implementation, and no progress report is complete without detailed information about it,” Boehner wrote to Sebelius.

The conservative Family Research Council says the $160 million in taxpayer funds for Pennsylvania is the first known instance of direct federal funding of abortions through the new high-risk insurance pools.

The abortion funding for pool participants validates the arguments pro-life groups made throughout the health care debate – that taxpayer dollars will fund abortions, said Tom McClusky, senior vice president of the Family Research Council’s political action arm.

“For our efforts to remove the bill’s abortion funding, we were called ‘deceivers’ by President Obama and ‘liars’ by his allies. Now we know who the true deceivers and liars really are,’ McClusky said.

“This action by the Obama Administration also exposes the worthlessness of President Obama’s Executive Order that supposedly would prevent federal funding of abortion, but which both sides, including Planned Parenthood, agreed was unenforceable.

“While the American people deserve an apology from President Obama for his deception, we should only be satisfied when this Pennsylvania abortion funding is rescinded and the health care law repealed.

McClusky noted that the new health care law also includes $12.5 billion for community health centers, and $6 billion for co-ops, both of which can fund abortions.  And some people will use tax credits to help them pay for plans that cover abortion.

Even before it’s fully implemented, the Democrats’ health care plan “is already being exposed as a high-taxing, poorly thought-out, and taxpayer-funding-of-abortion monstrosity,” McClusky said.

Republican leader Boehner says House Republicans would codify the Hyde amendment, thus prohibiting all authorized and appropriated federal funds from being used to pay for abortion.  Under the Republican plan, any health plan that includes abortion coverage would not receive federal funds.

Will AG’s Conflict of Interest Prevent Charges Against Planned Parenthood?

Dirty Politics all over out country.. This AG has no business looking into such a complaint being filed against something he condones. There is no way this will see the light of day in court when you have the Iowa AG is sleeping with the Planned Parenthood.

Des Moines, IA — Connections between the office of Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller and a Planned Parenthood abortionist raise questions about whether a complaint filed against the abortion giant will get fair consideration.

Operation Rescue’s Cheryl Sullenger was contacted last week by Jane Ambrozic, a representative of the Iowa Attorney General’s office, who indicated that the AG’s office was unable to locate the complaint concerning the remote controlled distribution of dangerous abortion pills, known as telemed abortions. Sullenger provided Ambrozic a copy of the delivery confirmation letter that showed the complaint was received at the State House on June 24, 2010, along with the signature of the staffer who received the complaint. She also sent Ambrozic a digital copy of the complaint. Ambrozic acknowledged receipt of the files and that she was able to open them.

“There really is no excuse for the Attorney General’s dismissive attitude toward this complaint, now that we know that it has been received by his representative,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “While we hope that the Attorney General’s office will properly look into this complaint, connections between Tom Miller’s administration and Planned Parenthood of the Heartland that have recently surfaced are troubling. It certainly would not be the first time we have had to deal with corruption in a State Attorney General’s office.”

According to Attorney General Miller’s official web site, Dr. Linda Railsback, an 13 year employee of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland (formerly Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa), sits on his Crime Victim Assistance Board. In addition, the 2005 Iowa Attorney General’s Annual Report lists on page 37 a $7,000 disbursement of funds to Planned Parenthood. That money was funneled through the Iowa Attorney General’s office from the Federal Stop Violence Against Women program (VAWA).

“We find it ironic that a Planned Parenthood abortionist would be involved in a ‘violence against women’ board considering the violent means by which pre-born babies are aborted and the negative impact that abortion has on women, including increasing their risks for suicide and substance abuse. And that’s not to mention the frequent incidents of coerced and forced abortions that sidewalk counselors across the nation witness every day, which makes Planned Parenthood America’s chief exploiter of women. Railsback’s involvement with the A.G,’s office really shows a lack of good judgment on the part of Attorney General Miller,” said Newman.

“The connections between Miller’s office and Planned Parenthood represent a conflict of interest. Not only is Miller affiliated with a long-time Planned Parenthood abortionist, but he also has distributed thousands of tax dollars directly to Planned Parenthood’s coffers. Can Miller set aside his pro-abortion ideology and his professional and personal relationships with Planned Parenthood long enough to enforce Iowa laws without prejudice or bias? That remains to be seen.”

Sanctuary Policy Leads To Woman’s Murder

Last Updated: Tue, 06/08/2010 – 3:08pm

In the latest casualty resulting from a law enforcement agency’s don’t-ask-don’t-tell immigration policy, an illegal alien with an extensive criminal record killed a woman after being arrested and released by several different police departments.

Not surprisingly, the tragic and avoidable crime occurred in a state—Wisconsin—that has long provided illegal immigrants with sanctuary. At least four local law enforcement agencies had contact with the illegal immigrant (Jorge Dominguez) before he murdered a young mother in Kenosha County while driving drunk on Memorial Day.

Dominguez had been arrested for serious crimes such as battery, possession of drugs and obstructing an officer and he served time in the Racine County jail. When he completed his sentence last summer he was extradited to Cook County where he had a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Federal authorities claim that they issued an immigration hold on Dominguez nearly a year ago so that he could be deported after serving his sentence.

Instead, the illegal alien was released by the various law enforcement agencies he encountered throughout his crime spree. An official with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) assures that the federal immigration hold had been issued when Dominguez was in custody in both Racine and Cook counties. Both agencies claim they had no record of an immigration detainer when Dominguez was released from jail.

Police in two other jurisdictions—Burlington and Rock County—also had contact with Dominguez before the deadly crash but none evidently bothered to check his immigration status. This allowed the illegal immigrant to continue victimizing innocent Americans. Legally drunk, he crashed into a family’s car on a local highway around 10:30 p.m. on Memorial Day. In the passenger’s seat, the mother was killed and the father, who was driving, was injured as well as the couple’s teenage son.

The local law enforcement agencies involved in the case all conveniently claim that they had no record of the immigration detainer. Not that most of them bother asking about a suspect’s immigration status anyways. Municipalities throughout Wisconsin have long protected illegal aliens and most police departments forbid officers from touching the immigration issue.

Just last week Madison, Wisconsin’s capital city, passed an ordinance guaranteeing that it won’t enact laws to help curb immigration. Lawmakers said they unanimously approved the resolution because minorities in the area feel that Arizona’s new law will cause backlash all the way in the Badger State. That measure makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. without proper documentation, bans “sanctuary city” policies and requires local police to check the immigration status of all residents who have encounters with authorities.

Last year Wisconsin passed legislation that gives illegal aliens discounted tuition at the state’s public colleges and universities and lawmakers came close to approving a measure to give them special driver’s licenses. For decades illegal immigrants obtained driver’s licenses in Wisconsin but in 2005 the privilege was rescinded to comply with a federal law (Real ID Act) requiring states to verify the authenticity of every applicant by 2011. Legislators came close to offering illegal immigrants, who won’t meet the new federal security standards, special cards but made a last-minute decision not to when the issue came under public scrutiny
