Libya: African Countries Sent Troops To Support Gadhafi – Opposition

The National Libyan Council, an opposition group, accused Niger, Mali and Kenya of sending troops to support Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, Reuters reported March 2, citing a spokesman for the group. The group has evidence that Algeria is also involved, the spokesman said in a news conference in Benghazi. The council had earlier said it wants foreign states to conduct airstrikes against the “African mercenaries” in Libya.
